Apply for Accreditation Workshop ATTN: Accreditation Workshop is currently full, all applications received will be placed on a waiting list.
If you are a medical assisting program director seeking accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) through The Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB), you should attend an accreditation workshop before completing your self-study.
Medical assisting program directors and educators will be provided the opportunity to learn:
- how to apply the 2008 Standards and Guidelines for Medical Assisting Educational Programs
- roles and responsibilities of all of the parties involved in the process
- review the entire self-study process
- how to prepare for outcomes measurement as a basis for accreditation
- complete a self-study
- prepare for the on-site survey
The next workshop is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2010, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
